The purpose of this consultancy is to design, supply, deliver, install, and operationalize a portable solar training laboratory at the Antigua and Barbuda Institute of Continuing Education (ABICE).
The objective is to provide structured hands-on solar installation training, including a train-the-trainer component and mentorship programme, under the OAS-DCF project titled “Impact of Climate Change on Women and Disadvantaged Communities.”
Overall, the consultancy aims to:
Equip women and underserved youth with practical solar installation and maintenance skills.
Build a sustainable network of trained community facilitators capable of replicating and continuing local solar training programmes.
Strengthen climate resilience and renewable energy capacity at the community level.
