These polycarbonate sheets are tested and designed to help protect your home from severe weather while supporting our collective journey toward sustainable and climate-resilient living. Rosewood Barbuda Resort ESIA Rosewood Barbuda Resort Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Project Description: Murbee Resorts Inc. proposes to build the Rosewood Barbuda Resort on the southwest coast of Barbuda. The development will be constructed on a 160.48-acre plot in four phases. It will include 50 keys/suites, guest pools, an organic farm, restaurants, a spa and fitness facility, a kids club, sports courts, employee housing, and a house area. The developers aim to create a luxury resort and residences that deliver an exquisite and unrivalled guest experience. The project will provide public beach access at the western edge of the property and the port access location on the eastern edge will not be impacted. Johnsons Point Residential Development Antigua, West Indies Top Bay Real Estate Corporation Ltd. has submitted a plan to the DCA proposing to construct a vacation property in Johnsons Point, Antigua. The 3.7-acre property, which is designed to accommodate a large family, reflects the Client’s longstanding appreciation for the island’s natural environment. It was deemed that the project requires an Environmental Impact Assessment in order to inform final recommendation for its approval. The Johnsons Point Residential Development project proposes the construction of a sustainable, Caribbean-inspired vacation retreat, incorporating the use of local materials and environmentally conscious design principles. It features a central Main House and four guest cottages spread across the property to maximise sea views and natural ventilation, with air conditioning used minimally. NAP Project National Adaptation Planning in Antigua and Barbuda (NAP) Project Goal The goal to contribute to the global goal on adaptation in the Paris Agreement – to enhance adaptive capacity, strengthen resilience and reduce vulnerability to climate change (Article 7.1.).
