The Department of Environment has been divided into several programmatic areas in order to implement the Environmental Protection and Management Act, 2019, which includes the management of data, and biodiversity and ecosystems. Under each of these broad headings there are several areas that considerable work has been done; some of which has been done through the support of other governmental agencies, and through regional and international cooperation.
The sections herein seek to provide updates on the actions that have been taken in these areas, as well as to be a resource for further research and understanding of Antigua and Barbuda.
